"Where there is no vision, the people cast off restraint..." Job 29:18
We believe that with much prayer, the Lord has given us a Vision that would produce a spiritual environment that is a spiritual growth centre that is a refuge from the struggles people engage in from day to day. We are looking to establish a place where people can be refreshed and invigorated with Christian values and teachings. We want to be an organisation based on small group ministry. We want our Church to be well known because of its stand for the Scriptures, their excellence in worship celebrations, and their primary care for people.

We have a strong commitment to declaring to those who are not-yet-Christians, their need to live under the kingship and rule of the only Saviour of mankind-the Lord Jesus Christ. We trust the Lord to bring us to a point where we would be reaching scores and hundreds of people worshipping with us by the year 2015. We see the need for obtaining a large, attractive physical plant to co-ordinate the activities and ministries of our church. But we recognise that ministry flows out of relationships and that any building or physical plant is merely a means to the end of this church's missional goals.
Because of our strong commitment to reaching the lost, we would attain our growth principally through convert growth. We believe the Lord will bring us to a point where we have several hundred people worshipping with us by the year 2012 or other as the sovereign hand of God increases us.
We have a strong commitment to being a relevant church in our community spreading the hope that is in Christ in word and deed ministries. We would seek to establish community based programs within our means to assist the various people groups in our reach
We believe the Vision for The Hume Presbyterian Church extends farther than our immediate locality, but extends across Australia and the rest of the world. To that end, we commit ourselves to supporting the work of the Kingdom of God in the expenditure of up to ten+ percent of the annual church budget for outreach ministries, both home and abroad by 2012.
