Much thought has been given as to what we are trying to do with The Hume Presbyterian Church. Things we have had to consider are:

What is the purpose of the Church of Jesus Christ?

• How is that purpose accomplished?
• Is the Church of Jesus Christ effectively reaching ours and other cultures?
• How can we do it better?

We have developed several documents that have helped us shape our thinking and subsequently our actions in term of the overall "Mission" of The Hume Presbyterian Church.
